Yesterday I had the privilege of catering a picnic for the daughter of long time friends, who graduated from CSUS. I know, having raised our sons, what pride comes along with these occasions! The day was not without concern, the weather did not seem to want to cooperate with our "oak grove" setting, but the day went by without a table linen being spotted by rain. I wish you had all been able to peek in on the event. It is a true joy for me, and a privilege, to be a part of serving these special events. The green and white gingham table linens, and centerpieces of bright yellow sunflowers and green spider mums set off the outdoor country setting.
